While an immediate end to the embargo still appears beyond our reach, we can overturn the travel ban. Restoring the right of Americans to visit Cuba will be the first significant crack in our nation’s antiquated and immoral policy.

Contact your member of Congress! We expect a vote on the “Freedom to Travel to Cuba Act” – S. 428 in the Senate and HR 874 in the House – this fall. This legislation is the single best opportunity we’ve had in decades to break the stranglehold the hard-line Miami exile community has held over our nation’s Cuba policy.
